What is Aegis and how does it work? +
Aegis is Quria's first AI team member — a doppelgänger designed specifically for service-industry operations. It handles scheduling, time-off management, and emergency staffing coverage by reading your operational data and doing the coordination work for you. It connects to your existing tools like Google Sheets and Gmail.
What kinds of businesses does Quria serve? +
We're built for service businesses that rely on shift-based labor — restaurants, pools, country clubs, bars, and hospitality operations. If your operation runs on a team of people with schedules, availability windows, and recurring staffing coordination, Aegis is designed for you.
How much setup is involved? +
The current prototype runs on Google Sheets and Gmail, which means setup involves building out your employee records and shift requirements in a structured format. We walk you through it. The philosophy is to get you to working output as fast as possible — not to put you through a six-month enterprise implementation.
Does Aegis replace my manager? +
No. Aegis handles the repetitive administrative burden that pulls managers away from leading their team. Your manager stays in control of final decisions — especially on things like time-off approvals. Aegis does the analysis, surfaces the recommendation, and handles the coordination. The human still leads.
What's coming after Aegis? +
Quria's long-term vision is a full ecosystem of AI team members — doppelgängers with defined roles across inventory management, customer communication, onboarding, reporting, and more. Aegis is the first. More are being designed. The goal is a unified platform where you can see and interact with your entire team — human and AI — in one place.
